PRESS RELEASE

White Haven, Pa. –Another award for Dr. Sylvia Lafair, President of Creative Energy Options (CEOinc) with her important book “Don’t Bring It to Work” (Jossey Bass).

The seventh award is from the London Book Festival, an annual competition celebrating books receiving recognition from this international publishing capital.

“I am thrilled that my book is being honored. Knowing the competition was strong and my book continues to be a resource for understanding the core of business relationships means a lot to me” said Lafair who speaks frequently about leadership development and communications at corporate and association conferences.

Her award winning book “Don’t Bring It to Work” has been ranked in the top of Amazon’s Best Selling Workplace books.

“Don’t Bring It to Work” addresses the 13 most common behavior patterns in the workplace, the underlying cause of office politics and poor communication. The book offers tips and techniques to transform ingrained patterns and increase productivity.

“This book and its companion e-book “Pattern Aware Success Guide” have helped my team work more effectively and cooperatively than ever before” said Yvonne Cangelosi, Senior Vice president of SPEX Certiprep.

In addition, Dr. Lafair’s well respected leadership course Total Leadership Connections, is beginning its 51st program May 14-16. The course takes place over a six month period by offering four two day off-site sessions using many of the tools discussed in the books.

“Total Leadership Connections has withstood the test of time,” said Lafair. “It is now in its eleventh year with hundreds of graduates from various industries and organizations. We have proven results utilizing our leadership assessment at the beginning and again six months following completion of the program.”
