Women And Money: The Art Of Creating More!

March 26, 2012 By Shanda Sumpter

“Women and money” is a top subject these days.   Recent studies show that women will be the richer gender within the next two years.

This leads me to a discussion that we just had in a women’s leadership council the other weekend.  After stating this fact, the feminine crowd burst out clapping as if we were winning a race against the men.

Are we competing against the MEN, ladies?

As women we have a big responsibility as we receive the duty of carrying more energy around money.  It seems to me that there is balancing happening, and with most cases when money is involved, there is a space for the EGO to take over. So stay centered and conscious that money is a way for you to open doors and live the life you want.

Does Money Stress You Out?

Only if you serve it.  Ask yourself, do I ask this green piece of paper for permission to move forward on something?  In your mind does it create more intelligence or strength in a person?  Perhaps you know someone staying married because they would rather feel safe than be happy.

The trick to FREEDOM is in YOU!

Have you noticed that no matter how hard you try to make more money, there is never enough?  That’s because that isn’t the path to freedom.

This morning after reading A Course In Miracles, as I do every morning, I thought—what’s the point in striving for more if it doesn’t make you happy?

Pay attention to your thoughts and how you are feeling.  It’s your indicator of whether  you are on to something lucrative or not.  Wealth comes to you EASIER if you are enjoying what you are doing.  Create space in your life so that you can show up as a QUEEN, not a slave.

The Golden Rule:

Practice finding contentment in what you already have, then work your project with inspiration. Sure, you will have moments of frustration and fear, but don’t back down and become small with worry.  Expand into the woman you are with complete knowledge that you have the power to make yourself happy, and that doesn’t start when you get a new car. It starts now with you!

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.
