Center for Women in Business to Host Former Secretary of Commerce Barbara Franklin

PRESS RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Center for Women in Business, a project of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Campaign for Free Enterprise, will host an event with the Honorable Barbara Hackman Franklin and author Lee Stout to discuss Stout’s new book, A Matter of Simple Justice: the Untold Story of Barbara Hackman Franklin and A Few Good Women. The Honorable Carol Hallett will moderate a discussion between Franklin, Lee Stout and the Honorable Helen Delich Bentley about expanding the role of women in the public and private sectors.

The discussion will be followed by a mentoring session and networking reception. Participants will have the opportunity to gather career advice from accomplished professionals – both men and women — from varied industries and backgrounds in the Washington, DC area.
