I’m 49 and have been looking for work in my schooling while working in a completely different position. I hear companies complain all the time that they can’t find workers experienced in certain skills. Yet, companies don’t want to take the time to develop and train workers that have good work ethics and are willing to work hard. How are employees supposed to get the experience without good training programs? I also want to work for a company that is innovative but I see mostly penny wise, dollar foolish when it comes to investing in future talent.
