Sure, they may work in predatory environments where a dictatorial culture limits their growth and even dehumanizes them. But they choose to work there and stay there.”

I just recently had this discussion with someone who asserted that women made just .80 for every $1 a man made. I agreed – because the women were working different jobs, different hours, using different skills. I can walk on a construction job right now and get the same pay rate as the fellows. I can join an engineering team right now and get the same starting pay as the men did. I can interview for a management position and ask for a salary – and if it’s in the salary range they were planning to offer I’ll get it.

Blaming others for a reduced salary or wage is a waste of time. As proven by the legislation attempt recently put in place. How will our Fed’l Gov’t enforce such laws? Instead of teaching women what we think they’re entitled to – I think we should teach women about the choices available to them and how to think through those choices so that the one they make suits them and the life they want.
