I like your description of curiosity as ‘the yeast of effective leadership’. I would add that curiosity also helps us to better understand others so as a leader we can support them in the ways they need to be supported to be their best and listen to understand their perspectives so they can contribute fully in their work. When we are curious with others we can see, hear and understand them. This is true even in conflict. If we can stay curious when we feel our emotional buttons being pushed, we can navigate conflict in a way that works to create a positive outcome based on the connection found through the discovery of common ground from which you can move forward.
