Number 4 — the speakerphone addict — is the worst in my opinion. The boss would only use speakerphone and never put their phone up to their ear. It was SO distracting! And then when conversations started to go private, they’d then pick up the phone, but a little too late. In my opinion, it was totally inappropriate.

I worked in corporate for 10+ years and I know every single one of these coworkers! Probably the worst was the talkative one – she was my supervisor and also a complainer. I actually hid the second chair in my cubicle one night to keep her from sitting down. The night cleaning crew put it back, and I began putting it further and further away each night until it didn’t come back. She actually wanted me to look in her ear to see if she had a pimple because her husband was out of town and couldn’t do it. I was horrified and refused.
